Improper practices by Budget Rent a Car, Holland
This is NOT a complaint about the desk staff at Eindhoven airport. It is a serious complaint about the follow-up and invoicing by Budget rent a car.
We were correctly fined by the Dutch authorities for speeding (not much but still). We received a letter from the same authorities with details how to pay the fine of € 30,00. We paid the same day. We got two letters from Budget informing that our credit card was charged with € 42,35. We sent an email which was never replied. The help desk was impossible to reach but after receiving a second letter from Budget we phoned again and after nearly 20 minutes waiting we got the following answer: the extra credit charge does not include the fine but is merely for administration costs! Mind you...
