Bad service at Green Motion in Fiumicino

Despite the good reviews I have seen, most of the time things go well when I rent a car so I understand all those positive reviews. Unfortunately, I would not be writing a negative reviews if it was based just on the pick up. After we called them it took them 1h15 mins to pick us up, and then indirectly questioning my intelligence that maybe I was at the wrong pick up place which I wasn't. Then when we after waiting that long and being a bit frustrated we asked the lady driver why they were so late and she started shouting that it wasn't her fault. In her defense, she did try to make it up at the rental car agency by telling the person there to take care of us as soon as possible so I would not have written this review if it was just for that. On our returning the car, we arrived there around 5 am since we had an early flight and the rental car company was closed. We called a number that was left on the gate and the guy told us to leave the key in the mail box, then unfortunately we had to take an expensive cab to the airport. I received an email 14 hours later asking me where the car was. I explained to the lady (Laura) that we had dropped the key and that we were inconvenience since we had to pay for a cab (15 euros). Her reply was to return the car the previous night instead. At that point, I shortly emailed her that it was the wrong answer since we as customers were not only inconvenienced by the situation (not knowing how to get to the airport from the rental car place) but we had to incur extra cost to get to the airport. Her answer was that my "way of acting," was wrong. At that point, that is where I decided a review. Suggesting that I return the car the night before like Laura did was very inconsiderate and very unprofessional. I would have to incur 2 extra taxi fares and waste time going and returning from the rental car office, instead they should have like most places a drop box to end all problems. Her unnecessary emails also were unprofessional. Maybe someone needs to remind them that I don't need them to survive and pay my bills, but they do. She also suggested that I choose another company if I wanted. As a business owner, if I had employees like that, they would be fired on the spot. Also the ladies who work there are not very friendly to begin with, but I don't care about that, I lived in Italy for several years and I don't expect much when it comes to customer service in Italy unless I go to a Ritz Carlton.

Great service

I often need to hire a car when arriving at Fiumicino Airport in Rome. I do the search and usually choose the cheapest rate which includes a full waiver. This time Greenmotion turned up which I had not heard of before. I will definitely be using them again! From the excellent pre-booking service both via email and phone to the very efficient pick up and return to the airport I highly recommend this company. Also, whereas one tends to think that hiring the car from within the airport is better, it is actually not necessarily so. To hire from the airport you need to walk quite a long way to get to the parking area where the rental companies are; instead with Greenmotion (and Firefly) you are picked up and dropped off right in front of departures. Perfect! Thank you ladies at Greenmotion for the great service!

Beware, they will rip you off for some hair - like scratch you did not do

the car was in good condition, some minor dents and scratches all, as I deemed, marked on the vehicle check card. I did not buy full insurance as in my opinion it was a rip-off and a way to sponge money off you. I was wrong - they do that if you don't get the insurance. Upon return, the manager ( tall man) has found a tiny, invisible from 1 meter distance scratch - a hair like line, and was charged E200. Also had to wait over an hour for pick up , despite providing arrival time and flight number. AVOID!

Vergognatevi !!!! / Shame !!!!

La green motion dovrebbe licenziare le impiegate Fiumicino. La donna con il fiocco in testa (non so il suo nome) è assolutamente non professionale, maleducata e non adatta ad un lavoro simile.Siamo riusciti a noleggiare la nostra auto solo dopo lunghissime ore di attesa per assoluta incompetenza del personale!!!!! Non consiglio assolutamente di servirsi di questo rental car! In uk il servizio è ottimo ma a Roma Fiumicino purtroppo hanno assunto persone incompetenti…….un vero peccato!

The woman with bow on her head (do not know his name ) is absolutely unprofessional , rude and not suited to a simile.Siamo work managed to rent our cars only after long hours of waiting for absolute incompetence of the staff !!!! ! I do not recommend absolutely the use of this rental car ! In UK the service is great but in Rome Fiumicino unfortunately have become incompetent ...... .a real shame !

Excellently

Was in doubt about Green Motion after reading all reviews, but took a chance. I hired a car for two weeks in Rome (Fiumicino). Was impressed by the service (if I am not mistaken the name of the young woman was Pamela, thanks to her!) and quality of the car. It was a Peugeot 308. The car was new. Well done green motion!
