Great rental at SIXT Mia Airport Five Star +++

This SIXT rental car Station at Mia Airport is the best SIXT rental Station I've ever visited. The stuff is very friendly and asked After a Long Trip with the plane if the Customer want something to Drink. We get some bottles of cold water and had then the possibility to See which Cars are available. The Employee asked is if we Need some more Insurance for the car. Roadside assistance for example. We declined it. That was ok for him. He don't sell us Things we don't want. This is Really good.
Alamo, Dollar and Co Doing this Every Time.
We get Finally a Chevrolet Tahoe. This car was clean and for sure Really New. I think we are the Second Family who driving this car.
We are often in Miami. If we Need a car in Miami we will Rent at SIXT Miami International Airport. Many thanks to Stewart Menzel the rental Station Manager. He is Doing a Really good Job. He is very Customer satisfaction oriented.

Do not rent from here

The employees that work here are thieves. The management is rude and unresponsive. I left cash in the car and got the run around for 3 days. Not one manager or employee ever called me back. I had to call myself and reach the reservation line and wait for them to get in touch with a manager. First they told me the car hadn't been serviced yet and was in the car wash but the car wash was closed. I called the next day to see if they found my money and of course was given another story that there was no manager on duty. On the third day the reservations agent said they got in touch with someone from the branch and they had already rented out the vehicle and tried to blame the money being gone at the passengers who rented the vehicle. When I asked if it was found in the vehicle by the employees I got no answer. They kept saying they would ask the people who had the car when they brought it back. I am very clear that when you rent a vehicle it goes through a full detail cleaning before it is rented out to the next passenger. If that cash was a gum wrapper it would have been cleaned out. Finally didn't get a response until I returned to Miami and spoke with a manager who was both rude and condoscending. When I told him he should be investigating which employees were working that shift and who cleaned the car he not only had no idea and clearly hadn't held his staff responsible or even asked them. Of course four days later it wouldn't be in there. He should have addressed it immediately with his employees. He then told me "it wasn't cool" for him to accuse them of stealing which isn't what we asked, we simple told him to ask his employees who returned the car and hold them liable. He took my information saying he would call me when the car was returned and never heard from him. First and last time I'll be renting from here. Horrible customer service.

Scam on Tolls

This company will scam you for the tolls. They charge $5 Admin fee per toll. Not a daily fee, but per toll fee. I will end up paying more than $100 more because I cross 20 tolls in Miami within 4 days. Other companies charge an Admin fee per day not on a per toll basis. Avoid this company as much as you can.

Can't trust these guys

The car was actually very fine. What troubled us was that the clerk kept pushing additional insurance and lied to us, by saying there were many tolls on the way to Key West and that it was "definitely worth it" to pay 8 USD per day for unlimited tolls. I would not trust a company that lies like this to its customers. This is just terrible service. I strongly recommend against renting any cars with Sixt after this experience.

Please read before renting!

My wife and I are 67 years of age and professionals. We have rented cars all over the world and this was the worst experience of our life.

We rent a car for 2 days out of Denver, Co and returned the car to Denver. We checking the car after the rental we no damage, and the agent gave us a receipt. One month late we receive a letter from Sixt stating we had damage the car and demanded payment in excess of $750.00. There was no damage to the car, period,

This is an ongoing battle now we us. After reading reviews on Sixt this tends to happen a great deal to customers that don’t pay for Sixt insurance.

Be very careful when renting from Sixt. We would recommend renting from a more reputable company.

DO NOT USE THIS RENTAL COMPANY

I have rented numerous vehicles from other Rental companies. I used Sixt because the reviews looks decent on Orbitz. From the service, to the charges, it was ALL a nightmare. Because It was Super Bowl weekend they did not have a premium car available. Needless to say, even though this is what I paid for and reserved. Who leases out more vehicles than they have available? Scam#1. They place you in another "loaner" car while they figure out how to get one accessible only to drive around town for 2 hours, wasting your vacation to end up with a car you did not pay for. Then the tolls. They charged me over $1700+ just on tolls, even though I know the drill and purchased a SUN pass immediately. Scam #2. Two months later, I am still disputing with this company on fraudulent charges they have charged by card with out authorization. Do not use this company under any circumstances.

Stay Away From This Company...

This company is the most pathetic and fraudulent company I have ever dealt with. I paid for a Mercedes E350 and as expected it was not available. They tried to upgrade me to a BMW 750 for twice the price. I eventually accepted a Volvo for the original price. The attendant asked if we would like to return the car with a full tank of gas or have them do it. I said we would do it. She had me sign and initial the form and me being in a rush just signed it without reading it. We returned the car with a full tank and the receiving attendant said everything was good to go. We left and a couple of days later we received a final bill except we were charged for them to fill it up, but it was already a full tank. I contacted them and the customer service department refunded the gas charge. Then 5 days later, I received an email saying the car had damage and since I purchased the additional insurance they needed me to fill out the form so they could make a claim with the insurance company. Only problem is, there was not damage on the car except for the minor damage when I picked it up. They are trying to scam the insurance company with a false insurance claim. I have forwarded all of this information to my attorney and I will just let the courts figured it out!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!

Don't rent from this place.

Piss poor service. After waiting an hour and a half for a car that was supposed to be ready in 45 mins, I would not suggest that anyone rent from this place. This place definitely needs to work on time management skills and hire more people to work if they are needing so much help. DO NOT RENT HERE. BEWARE. I would recommend Enterprise or another company that is actually reliable.

Be careful!!!

Be careful!!!! Fraud company. Over charged me $200 for a car rental without me consenting to it. Now, customer service is ignoring my request of reviewing my claim. Customer service representative told me that a manager will call me back, but they never did. Be careful from the airport staff when picking up the car, they will add hidden charges without telling you. They never sent me a copy of the agreement I signed when asking for it.
