Green Motion Orlando

Booked this a day before arrival after having to cancel previous car due to 24hr flight delay. Very worried due to it being 3rd July and a mad period for the Americans.
Knew it was about 5 miles outside the airport but was half price of others on site! (£110 for a mid size car for 6 days).
Had a 15 min wait for their shuttle, not too bad. 5 mins to their place off site and quick efficient service when I got there. Was offered a free upgrade .. to Mustang convertible:) Don't turn that down, even though we had 2 kids and luggage! Anyway, managed to squeeze all in. Great car and quick check in on return with no hassles. Would use them again no bother.

Watch Your Credit Card - Green Motion Orlando

The car was fine, the service was slow. My real complaint is that I was told they would need to put a $500 hold against my credit card in case I returned the car damaged. Okay, that was fine, no problem. Instead they put a $500 sale against my credit card. I returned the car on time, 7/18, in perfect condition, with more gas than it had when I got it. I checked my credit card statement 6 days later, and the charge was still there. I called Green Motion and they told me it might take 10 days for the reversal. So I checked my card again today, and the charge was still there. I called Green Motion today, 8/8 and they insisted it was a hold, not a sale, that they reversed the hold on 7/18, and even gave me an authorization code they claimed they used. I called my credit card company, they affirmed that it was a sale and not a hold, they never received any sort of reversal, and the whole thing is going in as a dispute. Perhaps Green Motion hoped I would be too lazy to follow up on this, I don't know. But watch your credit card statement after dealing with them.

do not rent here

I rented a van at this location it came completely out of gas. the attendants are very rude and should be fired this is an off-airport location if you are going on a vacation do not start it out dealing with these morons I will be posting a video of the service in which I recorded the language from the attendant is absolutely shock she starts fighting with another worker when i post it i will leave the link on this site

Renter beware

The company "Green Motion" (Orlando, Florida) is nothing more than a low class shady scam of a business. I would have been more enthusiastic about rating this company if I were able to rate it at less than 1 star.

People renting from this company are lured in by the cheap price, and they get what they pay for...cheap. The ONLY thing this company had going for them was the people. I would rate 5 stars for the employees working there and take away 10 stars for the management of the business.
Upon arriving at the airport, the place advertised with a shuttle service, on a 15 minute rotation to the airport... the drivers were not bad, and the wait time was ok. The location was unclear, there was no established pick up location, only a "general look for our shuttle" area. We arrived at the "OFF Airport" site (@10 minutes away) we were greeted by a friendly staff. During the inspection of the vehicle however, we found over 23 deficiencies (with photo proof) to include scraps, dents, a cigarette smell, and human fluids (I have UV & Blacklight photos as proof). We were also told, as an afterthought that our card would have a $500 "Hold charge" placed on it (on day 2 I called my bank and had it removed) Once we got to our destination we found that the registration had expired the month prior.
When we returned the car, the excuse was "we lease and rent out over 500 vehicle, sometimes they slip thru the cracks". The company made no attempt to compensate us and I had to threaten to take the vehicle off property and allow a local sheriff to impound the vehicle before they would call a manager (of which NONE were on shift or on location / @ 10:30pm) before they stated they would email me a $100 refund. As of the time of this printing, no email has been received, no call or other attempts have been made by the company to make good on their word.

My advice- rent from a drug dealer
