Any Positive Reviews are Likely a Scam

This company is a scam. They would not take my insurance (even though Thrifty did the very next day at the same airport), and when I attempted to return the car after less than 24 hours, they STILL charged me for the insurance on the remaining 3 days I didn't have the car. That in addition to charging rental for those extra days. My "single day" use of the car wound up costing 150% MORE than if I had the car for the entire 4 days for the price they agreed to in the up-front pricing I agreed to online. They sent me an apology, explaining that they had resolved the issue by refunding my insurance for the days after I returned the car, but they still charged me rental for all four days, as well as the insurance for the day I had the car and didn't need it. They didn't apologize for having a check-in process that takes more than an hour. Or for being the only car rental agency in Orlando that requires you to carry your ENTIRE insurance policy in order to rent a car. DO NOT RENT FROM GREEN MOTION. They should investigated as a scam.

AVOID GREENMOTION AT ALL COST!!

AVOID! AVOID! We rented a car from Greenmotion through Rentalcars.com at Orlando and had a horrible experience. First we had to wait for more than one hour to get our car then the tire had low air pressure so they had pump air in it. That still didn't work because throughout of trip low pressure alarm was on. However the biggest FRAUD that the company is guilty of is Insurance. They have a scam going. They ask you to produce copy of your Auto Insurance (who carries copy of their auto insurance). If you can't then you have to pay exorbitant insurance ($25.99) per day. Booking agreement does not specifically say you have to produce copy of your Insurance, if you want to decline. I called Greenmotion to resolve this issue and they hung up on me twice. I called Rentalcars.com and they said it is in the fine print. They seem to be colluding with Greenmotion. They are both owned by Priceline. So beware of GREENMOTION and also RENTALCARS.com and by association all Priceline Companies.

Avoid at all costs. $500 security deposit charged to your card at pick up. All sorts of upselling at the pick up counter. $50 charge for a $1.95 missed toll. Never will use!!!

DON'T RENT HERE

I arrived after midnight and waited for the shuttle. The shuttle driver was very friendly, but failed to mention there were no rental cars!!! After driving 15 min there I got out, stood in line, and was told they had no cars. I had prepaid for my full trip. I was then told they could not give my my money back. I had to go back to the airport where almost all of the rental companies were out of cars. I ended up having to pay $400 for two days from dollar.

Green Motion Orlando

After booking a Nissan Altima for what I thought was a great deal of $110, I read a long series of negative reviews on this Green Motion location. Fortunately, after returning the vehicle this morning I have only positive feedback. We waited no more than 5 to 10 minutes for the van to arrive at the airport and about 15 minutes max to get waited on at the off-site rental location due to 3 groups in front of us. The manager even jumped in to become a third attendant to move the line along faster. The office was clean and the staff helpful. They even offered the four of us complimentary drinks while we waited the 2 minutes to bring the car up. If you can get one, bring your own SunPass, Florida does not use the EZPass System prevalent throughout the Northeast and Midwest US. Regarding the return experience, the office was crowd with a steady line of returns at 5 am on a Saturday and we just missed two shuttles as we pulled into the location which resulted in about a 15 minute wait for the next one. This delay was minor compared to the wait at the Orlando Airport so be sure to give yourself at least 2 hours during peak travel times. All in all I was very pleased with Green Motion and would not hesitate to try them again in the future.
