UNA ESTAFA - A FRAUD

El pasado 6 de Diciembre, vale con mi hijo adolescente con necesidades especiales desde Caracas, Venezuela, a Miami - Florida, habiendo realizado una reserva con mucho tiempo de anticipación con arguscarhire y la Empresa Green Motion, por un monto de US$ 395,oo Al llegar a la oficina de Green Motion, tuve la desagradable sorpresa que NO ACEPTARON mi Tarjeta de Debito con respaldo de un Banco Americano (Chase o Commercebank). Al preguntar, si podía cancelar la reserva, me dijeron que ya había prescrito el tiempo para hacerlo y perdía todo el dinero debidamente cancelado a arguscarhire, pregunté si podía comunicarme con un familiar residente en Miami para que colocara su Tarjeta de Crédito, me dijeron que el procedimiento era ilegal y que debían cambiar el contrato y al preguntar, si podía alquilarlo y luego devolverlo me dijeron que entonces perdería el monto total cancelado que fueron los 395$ cancelados con anticipación, más los más de $700 solares que debí cancelar, pues para eso si fue aceptada mi tarjeta de débito americana. Esta NO es la primera vez que reservo con arguscarhire en cualquier parte a la que viaje, y NUNCA he tenido este inconveniente con ninguna de las otras operadoras de alquiler de vehículos. Siempre se ha aceptado mis tarjetas de débito americanas sin ninguna clase de problemas, aunque lo estipule el contrato de las tantas otras oficinas de alquiler de vehiculos. Como venezolana y estando con Venezuela con un estricto control de cambio, no poseemos tarjetas de crédito para respaldar transacciones en dólares. Al viajar con mi hijo con autista, no puedo hacer cambios de última hora, por lo que me vi en la necesidad de gastar los más de 700$ adicionales a la tarifa original, que valga la pena aclarar que con esos casi 1200 $ hubiera podido adquirir un vehículo usado en muy buenas condiciones y hubiera podido estar tranquila en mi viaje. Esos $710,65 adicionales suponen en mi País, absolutamente devaluado 78.882.150 Bsf, con los que hubiera podido vivir fácilmente y con comodidad 8 meses en Venezuela.

They promise a lot of things in the ad but when you go there everything is different and they include a lot of extra fees for everything that they don't mention before!

The company in Miami works with South American quality standards. This company is a crap!

BEWARE!!! Terrible service, paid but no car, rude attendant

First of all I paid in full for a mid size car about 2 weeks in advance. Arrived at airport at 7:30 am. 22nd March 2016, a very cold morning. I waited with my 8 year old daughter for 1 hour 45 minutes, no shuttle. Called from my phone, and was told to wait 10 minutes. 45 minutes later, NO SHUTLE. Paid $20 for a taxi to take us to the Green Motion office. The attendant then told me that I was told to WAIT in the airport. I explained to her that I already waited for almost 2 hours. She then told me in no uncertain terms that I was stupid because there were no cars available and the next one coming in was maybe in about 2 hours more so I should have waited in the airport and when a car became available the shuttle would be sent. Could any one believe this type of rational???? Remember now I have in my hand a printed copy of a paid reservation from 8:00 am to 6:pm as I need only to conduct some business in Miami while in Transit for that day. I tried to explain my predicament but she callously informed me that I probably needed to return to the airport to find another agency. I asked for a refund and she refused as she stated that I made the reservation through an intermediary. I then had to pay another $20 to a taxi to return us to the airport. It took me another hour and a half to finally get another rental as the airport was unusually busy that day. The professional misconduct of that lady agent cost me both time and I lost a few thousand dollars as I was unable to complete my business transactions due to the delay caused by her and her company. I hope that other persons reading this will not risk the unfortunate experience that I had to endure especially as I had a young child with me.

green motion

Would never rent from green motion again ever. Should anyone reading this choose to rent from them, my advice would be, take photos of the car before you drive off and take photos and video when you return it, as I did, so you don't get charged for damage (as they tried to do with me) on the car that was there in the first place. Only had 2 cars! to choose from, both were damaged and both would have failed a UK MOT. I have been to the USA every year on holiday since 1985 and find most of the car rental companies pretty good (USA policy, customer is always right, customer is King etc) but this company shouldn't be in business.

WORST experience ever!

I wanted to save money and booked through atlas choice and they gave me green motion. We waited at the airport for 1.5hours to be picked up by the shuttle - I called 3 times and it cost me over $15 because I had to use my international phone. When someone finally came, he was unfriendly just like all the other people in the office. The lady with the big glasses, I assume she is the boss, treated me and other customers badly, was very rude and was yelling at me. They did not even say that they were sorry for letting us wait for so long at the airport. We had to purchase the toll pass for about $7 a day - ridiculous price! We also got a very beat up car - but that was ok so they wouldn't notice any more problems on the car. I DO NOT recommend to rent a car there, it was my worst travel experience ever!! I have never been treated so badly by anyone in the US ..
