Worst customer service in the business
We arrived after 15 hours of travel to find that there was no shuttle, as promised, to take us to the off-site pick up location. We had to pay $25 for a taxi. When we arrived we found a sign on the desk saying the clerk would be back in 2 hours. When we returned the car, again another sign saying she would be back in an hour. We were unable to get a receipt for the taxi so AVIS will not reimburse us for the taxi in spite of the fact that there was no clerk at the desk to help. I have a receipt for one direction. One would think that it is obviously the same amount to return to the airport.
