Avoid booking a rental car at Shlomo Sixt
Sadly, the feedback regarding Shlomo Sixt is almost uniformly negative and the volume of complaints against Shlomo Sixt indicates the poor quality and costumer satisfaction.
The willingness of employees to solve problems does not exist. Suggestions of the customer are not considered. Suggestions of employees are not made, as they do not seem to have the authority to make decisions on their own and/or are not sufficiently qualified to do so. This leads to endless discussions between customer and employees that leads to nothing, as the employee is suddenly "tired" of talking to the customer and/or becomes extremely rude.
I have had this experience in the Jerusalem office unfortunately and it took me about 5 hours (on two consecutive days)...
So avoid booking a rental car at Shlomo Sixt.

Worst Car Rental Experience
If you are interested learning Hebrew while visiting Israel, ask a local the definition of “balagan” and then come Sixt’s office on Yirmiyahu Street on Friday morning to view it on full display. The spectacle climaxes at 12:00 when the office inconveniently closes for the weekend just as it is getting so full of angry customers that they can barely fit into Sixt’s tiny office. Not to worry, however. They don’t actually throw their customers out into the street (even Sixt has its limits). They merely herd everyone to another office located in the car park, which happens to be even smaller and more cramped than their street office. If you are lucky, you will get to stand indoors to continue your wait instead of boiling in Jerusalem’s heat outside in the car park with the less fortunate customers that were not able to cram inside. I arrived at the Sixt office on Friday at 9:45 in the morning. At 13:00, I was still waiting for my car along with 2 other customers that had arrived at the same time as me 3 hours earlier. (Another customer that had arrived at the same time as us gave up around the climax of the balagan at 12:00 and left without a car.) When the one Sixt employee left in the office was finally ready to give me my car, I noticed that I was charged 3.5 times more than I was supposed to according to my reservation. When I expressed disagreement with the charge, the Sixt employee lectured me for failing to read the fine print in their contract! For those of you keen on learning Hebrew, you can add another vocabulary word to your list: chutzpah.
